Investing in Futures: CMH Group Launches Beneficiary Bursary Programme for Employees’ Families

At First Car Rental, we believe that empowerment starts at home. That’s why we’re proud to support the CMH Group’s latest employee-focused initiative: the Beneficiary Bursary Programme, designed to uplift and invest in the future of our people—and their families.

This meaningful new programme forms part of CMH’s broader Employee Benefit offering and reflects our commitment to long-term employee development, wellbeing, and transformation. By providing financial support for the children and grandchildren of eligible employees, the bursary opens doors to academic achievement and economic mobility for the next generation.

What the Bursary Offers

The programme provides a R20,000 bursary per academic year, awarded to qualifying dependants who are entering their second year of study at a recognised South African public university or university of technology. There are no restrictions on the field of study, allowing beneficiaries to pursue a wide range of careers—from engineering to education, business, science, and beyond.

This bursary is more than just financial assistance. It’s a gesture of trust, pride, and belief in the potential of our extended CMH family.
