  Dear First Car Rental

  We had the pleasure of hiring a vehicle from you when we were on holiday in Cape Town. Due to the size of the vehicle, we had decided to hire a bigger vehicle. With the terrible weather, changing the car and the ensuing chaos, I left my Nikon camera in the vehicle and did not realise until the next morning when we were in Hermanus.

  We drove back to First Car Rental Cape Town and spoke to Ricardo, who, despite being very busy, gladly assisted us. He informed us that the vehicle in which the camera was supposed to be in had been hired out on that same night.

  We were quite stressed; it was an expensive camera, but most importantly we had many memory cards in there with irreplaceable memories. Finally, Ricardo tracked down the vehicle and ascertained that the camera was there. He was even willing to personally collect it. Ricardo gave us the firm assurance that we should continue with our holidays and that, when the camera was returned, he would personally ensure it was locked away in the safe until we come back to collect it.

  True to his word, our camera was eventually back in our possession.

  In this day and age, it's rare to find someone of this calibre, who holds honesty and excellent service in such high regard. Your company is indeed blessed to have an employee like Ricardo - ensuring complete satisfaction from your clients. Your company will be strongly recommended to other clients.

  My fervent hope is that such an individual does not go unrecognised for his dedication to the job, and should be eligible for just rewards in your prestigious company.

  Once more, I wish to convey my sincere thanks and gratitude to your outstanding employee, Ricardo. May god bless him and his family and may he ascend on the ladder of success in your company.

  Dear First Car Rental

  This is a token of our appreciation for the wonderful service experienced in obtaining transport to our destination at Dragon’s Peak last week.

  Firstly, it was Karry who timeously warned us about the destructive storm approaching the airport and advised us not to take delivery of the car because of possible damage we'd be responsible for. We really are so grateful for this. The destruction that ensued in Durban and surrounds was catastrophic to say the least, and, if we'd been on the road, we certainly would have come off second best.

  Secondly, we are grateful to Sagren for fetching us from the hotel to collect the car from your First Car Rental Umhlanga Ridge branch, and assisting us with directions to the N3. We are equally appreciative hereof.
