Spur Trail Series 2016
Designed for all types of trail runners, from beginners to pros

The series offers are a number of different events across the year in the Western Cape, KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng, all with one thing in common: dynamic routes in wild and exciting places.
Venues in the Western Cape include the Elgin Valley, the world-renowned Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens and the Tygerberg Nature Reserve. In Gauteng, events take place at Hennops River, Segwati Game Reserve and Leeuwenkloof, to name a few. In KZN, races are hosted at Inanda Dam, Giba Gorge, Kenneth Stainbank Nature Reserve and iSithumba.
Each Spur Trail Series consists of four long (between 10 - 14km) and short races (between 5 - 9km).
To complete the full Series, athletes must run at least three short courses (Challenge) or three long courses (Championship) to receive a medal or simply run one or two races and join the fun.
