Montagu Mountain Mania 2016
An exciting outdoor adventure
The Montagu Mountain Mania takes place at the beautiful Avalon Springs Hotel and offers four distances to suit all ages and fitness levels.
The 20km trail is for fit and experienced trail runners. The route crosses between ravines, mountain streams and craggy cliffs with awe-inspiring rock formations. At the top of Bloupunt the view is breathtaking and one can see Ashton, Bonnivale, McGregor, Montagu and Robertson.
The 17km and 10km routes both have awesome single loops of mountain trails located within the Montagu Mountain Reserve. The 17km trail is rocky and more technical while the 10km trail is easier and ideal for fairly-fit leisure runners.
The 4km route is a fun walk/run for families and children that takes participants through the Badskloof Gorge and back.
