Riding through the surf

Situated in the charming suburb of Sardinia Bay in Port Elizabeth, Heavenly Stables offer guest the opportunity to ride through this isolated haven, canter along deserted ocean beaches, and meander on trails through Sardinia Nature Reserve.

There are 2 rides available, suitable for both first time and experienced riders; a one-hour trail ride through the nature reserve, and a two-and-a-half hour beach and trail ride through the reserve and along the beach.

On a ride through the Sardinia Bay Nature Reserve, guests can catch a glimpse of a bushbuck, duiker, vervet monkey and a large variety of birdlife. For guests on the coastal ride, picnic breakfasts or lunches, arranged in advance, are set up overlooking the beach.
