JAM SA needs your 67 minutes on Mandela Day

Mandela Day is celebrated across the world on Nelson Mandela's birthday - 18 July.
JAM SA, a CSI supported by First Car Rental, strives to honour Madiba's legacy, not just on Mandela Day (18 July), but every day, by providing thousands of pre-school children across South Africa with a daily bowl of highly nutritious porridge containing 75% of their daily micro-nutrient requirements.
JAM SA's signature red bowl has been feeding more than one million people every day since 2013. The red bowl is, according to the children supported by JAM SA, a miracle representing hope, change and development.

Help make a difference
JAM SA's Mandela Day campaign is themed "It is in your hands now" - Mandela's challenge to the world on the eve of his 90th Birthday in 2008, and words that have become the driving force behind International Mandela Day.
Jam SA invites you, the public, to join them at Jam HQ, Plot 123 Copperhouse Road, Nooitgedacht, Johannesburg, on Thursday and Friday, 16th and 17th July, to help sort and package donated shoes, and sew blankets.
You can further support JAM SA on Mandela Day by visiting their events at three Gauteng shopping malls - Menlyn Park (Menlyn, Pretoria), Clearwater Mall (Roodepoort), and Maponya Mall (Soweto) - where you will be able to donate children's clothes, educational toys, shoes and blankets.
Your donated goods will be distributed to 1,227 Day Care Centres in South Africa.
Says JAM SA, "Celebrating 'Madiba's legacy is not about how large your contribution is, but that you give of your time and love.
As a child-focused organisation, we believe that every day at JAM is a 'Mandela Day'."
