I got my rental car dropped off at work. The driver then realised that my driver's licence had expired. He then proceeded to offer to take me to the licensing department to renew it. He took me there and waited for me to renew the licence and thereafter I got my car.
Whatever frustration I felt over the situation, it was lessened by the help that I received from First Car Rental.

Jonathan not only guided me "on the phone" - helping me navigate and find my way using Google Maps, but he also stayed late as I only managed to find your Rondebosch branch and return your Nissan Car at about 5:30pm when your official closing time was actually at 5:00pm.

On Saturday the 14th of June I collected my car from Shane S at the airport. I was in quite a hurry and left my computer bag with both my laptop and iPad against the side of the counter. I got a call from Shane to tell me I had left it there. I was on my way to a reunion in Hillcrest and couldn't get back till the next morning. When I arrived at 7.50am the next morning Shane immediately recognised me and got my bag which had been kept in safety for the night.
In today's world this was a refreshing relief. It was not just the value of the equipment but the value of my study notes for my exam on Wednesday that was of more importance to me at this stage. I am eternally grateful to Shane and wish there was a way I could let him know the extent of my gratitude.

19 June - WINNING LETTER
I arrived late at the airport with the rental car from First Car Rental after a meeting that took longer than anticipated. I left in a hurry to board the plane. At the airport I realised I had forgotten my wallet in the car.
I contacted Alida, who immediately contacted the person that collected my car. They found the wallet and Alida then handed it over to Dominica her supervisor who then sent the wallet to me in Pretoria.
I received it a day later and collected it from Belinda at First Car Rental in Hatfield Pretoria. All my cards, cash and my driver's license were still inside my wallet. Thank you to all involved for this excellent service. I recommend First Car Rental and will always use them in future.

We received excellent service from the first gentleman who helped us when we arrived at the branch, all the staff we called in-between to extend our rental period and arrange a last minute collection, to the last two gentlemen who came to collect the vehicle at my home today.
