Volvo S60 T4 added to fleet

First Car Rental will be adding 30 new Volvo S60 T4's to its car hire fleet in October.

The Volvo S60 T4 is a stylish, fast and fuel-efficient four-door sedan that comes with exceptional safety features including ‘City Safety', a system that allows the car to automatically brake if the driver fails to react in time when the vehicle in front slows down or stops or if the car is approaching a stationary vehicle too fast.

The vehicle's enhanced ‘Blind Sport Information System' monitors and alerts the driver to rapidly approaching vehicles, as well as blind spots on both sides, while the 'Side Impact Protection System' comes with front seat airbags to supplement the dual-stage front and side curtain airbags.

The Volvo S60 T4 will join the BMW 116i in First Car Rental's car hire Group Z.

Greater choice for customers

Other new vehicles that will soon be available to hire through First Car Rental include the Renault Duster 1.6 Expression 4x2 (Group U), the Ford Kuga 1.6 SUV (Group K), the Suzuki Swift 1.2 Hatch (Group B) and the Renault Sandero (Group C).
