Tygerberg Trails

Over 120km of trails in the Durbanville Mountains

Managed by the Tygerberg Mountain Bike Club, the Tygerberg Trails is an integrated network of trails spanning over 120km in the Durbanville Mountains.

The routes include Majik Forest, Hillcrest, Meerendal, Contermanskloof, Hoogekraal and Bloemendal. The routes are mostly circular, with alternative routes for riding throughout the year.

For family rides, the Meerendal trails, built entirely by The Tygerberg MTB Club, offer a range of trails ranging from 5km to 18km.

For more advanced riders, the Contermanskloof Trail offers a 15km single-track route with amazing views of Table Mountain and Table Bay.

The remaining trails in the Tygerberg network, Bloemendal, the Corridor, Nitida to Hillcrest and Hillcrest, are for members only.
