Merrell Autumn Run

Set in the beautiful Walter Sisulu Botanical Gardens (voted Johannesburg's best place to get back to nature for 9 years in a row), the event offers three distances catering to all fitness levels and ages.

The 2km loop is perfect for children, while the longer 6km loop and 12km circular route head further into the open rocky Highland grassland of the botanical gardens, providing more technical running sections.

Whether you enjoy fierce competition or just want to enjoy a leisurely run/walk with the family, the event offers scenic options for everyone. When you pass by the gardens' cascading waterfall, make sure to keep a look out for the resident breeding pair of Verreaux's Eagles.

After the event, everyone is welcome to picnic in the gardens. There will also be food and drinks on sale and a jumping castle for the kids.
