Hike the Robberg Nature Reserve

Fantastic views and inspiring geology

Robberg Nature Reserve hike

Robberg Nature Reserve is considered as Plettenberg Bay's most scenic and popular hiking destination. Three picturesque hiking trails of varying lengths wind through and around this national monument.

The three trails range in time from a 30-minute stroll to a 4-hour hike, all with fantastic views, inspiring geology and sightings of whales and dolphins.

Connected to Robberg by a beach and with a boardwalk around it's perimeter, The Island is one of the walk's highlights.

Regardless of the route, hiking shoes, sunblock, hats, water and warm clothing are always essential.

For a different view of the reserve, guided sea kayak tours are available from Plettenberg Bay's Central Beach.
