New day care centre brings joy to kids
First Car Rental visited the Mahou Day Care Centre to see how children were enjoying their "new-look" centre
During the visit, First Car Rental's Executive Head of Strategy, Development and Marketing, Melissa Storey, handed out gift bags to the children, sponsored by First Car Rental.
Earlier this year, First Car Rental's international car hire partner, SIXT rent a car, donated 39 000 Euros (approx. R592 000) towards the extreme makeover of the Mahou Centre, a non-profit in Orange Farm, Gauteng.
The extreme makeover was completed in October 2015, and transformed the rundown centre into a modern, clean and safe space to inspire and encourage learning and growth.

During the visit, First Car Rental handed out gift bags to the children, containing toys, chips, sweets and drinks.
Three newly built, brightly-decorated classrooms, a new sickroom and an office were built during the makeover. Classrooms have been equipped with day-care accessories including Eva mats, educational toys, books, tables and chairs, bag rails and blankets.
