Nelspruit is situated in the far north-eastern corner of South Africa in Mpumalanga and will be host to some of the soccer games that will be played in the newly constructed Mbombela 2010 stadium.
Mbombela Stadium is around 7km north of Nelspruit. It has been specifically designed to ensure a prosperous life beyond the tournament as an adaptable, relevant multi-sport, entertainment and exhibition venue.
This magnificent 2010 stadium has been proposed as the venue for the both the first and second round matches, and with a capacity of 40, 000 people, it is sure to be buzzing with excitement as fans flock in to witness the soccer games.
