Hi Shaun. I had the absolute pleasure of being attended to by your employee, Marli! Wow, a breath of fresh air if I may say so myself! Not only was it clear that she understands the concept of Customer Service very well but she even went above and beyond the call of duty. I am quite gobsmacked by how much she went out of her way to assist us.
I can confidently say that had it not been for Marli, we would have continued our quest for a rental car :). I truly do applaud her and hope and pray that this country is one day filled with more "Marli's"! People who are pleasant, compassionate and professional all at the same time! Keep it up Marli and believe me, you are destined for greatness with an attitude like that :) Thank you once again and I will definitely recommend people to First Car Rental.

Alida Marinus assisted us when we returned the vehicle, she was most helpful and I found her very professional. She is very friendly and efficient. Her people skills are excellent; she is definitely an asset to First Car Rental. Please convey this message to senior management and to Alida. Thanks so much for the professional service I got. I got no hassles when I collected the car and the same when I returned it. The lady I dealt with at the counter was very friendly and quite professional in her approach. The gentlemen that assisted me when I collected and paid for the vehicle were amazingly friendly and interestingly methodical in their approach. I appreciated that indeed.
As long as your rates and your service remain better than most, you'll keep seeing more of me. If I were to make sure that I send lots of clients your way, how would you reward me? Keep it up; you are doing a marvellous job!

Just a quick thank-you to the most friendly and accommodating guy that assist our family in time of need. We were on holiday in Cape Town when all flights were cancelled to Europe. Douglass was so kind to arrange a new booking for us that suits our budget for the extended holiday -if you will.
Quite understandable other rental companies will extend the current booking on excessive rates, but he was kind enough to use the words: "what would you be able to afford?" then he gave our options to choose from and in less than 5 minutes we were on our way, and we could keep the same vehicle, without having to go through the hassles of unpacking. Nevertheless, this I will forever be grateful for and it is simple things in life like this attitude and behaviour we got from him, that will certainly be spread around for others to come to you and experience it themselves. Compliments to the New Offices too in Cape Town.

I am a regular client of First Car Rental. I just have to comment on the service that I always receive at the airport branch, it’s exceptional and even if there are problems, they are always solved. Debbie has a good team, to name a few Perusha and Andile are always efficient. I hope the 2 people I have mentioned, do get recognition for their effort and hard work.

Good Day, I would like to forward my utmost appreciation to a colleague of your working in Cape Town. Douglas was much helpful and went out of his way to assist me and make sure I get what I wanted as he explained that it is sometimes very difficult to guarantee colour or certain makes, but he satisfied my needs entirely. I listened to him whilst waiting in the queue the way he treated the lady at his counter, he has a warm, passionate approach and really listens to a client. Certainly don't get much of his caliber especially in the service industry. Big thumbs up.

I would like to thank your OR Tambo staff for assisting me on Friday night when there was a four-hour delay on the OR Tambo road. Due to the overwhelming amount of people that missed their flights and were unable to get onto standby flights, I needed to get my car rental back without the hassle of more money being held on my credit card. Fortunately, the First Car Rental staff worked quickly to get my car back for me. They were friendly, fast and efficient. My sincere thanks; they made a stressful situation seem a little less hopeless.

Many thanks to Ms Sonja Labuschagne. She is really great and always trying to find a way out of any problem for the satisfaction of the customer. Without her First Car Rental would have lost a couple of regular customers (Siemens colleagues) already, since the organization itself seems to be very chaotic, plenty of people in contact with the customer not properly skilled and some processes not in place. Thank you very much again.

Very good morning to you, nice to see all the compliments from other clients on your website too. Seeing that Douglas features on the website, I have to add my experience with him too, to the list.
My sister is a paraplegic and was wheeled-in in a wheel chair from your vehicle returns office. He assisted pushing my sister through the underground tunnel and up the escalator to our check-in counter! What amazing service I found it to be. Without having to pass the buck or get someone else to do it for us. I had myself a trolley with our luggage on it to push, that’s why I am forever so grateful for his assistance!

May I use this opportunity to pass on my gratitude to a hard working and friendly staff member of your Cape Town branch. I was merely enquiring about premium vehicles from the SIXT brand as I do all my rentals and bookings through SIXT in Dubai. I initially thought I am only enquiring but end up behind the controls of a brand new C180 Mercedes and already signed the contract with First Car Rental.
He was so efficient in what he has done, and just want to show my gratitude without having a formal reservation! Certainly world class service I experienced this morning!
