Graeme Watkins Project Rocks our Purple Wagon

Between December 2011 and January 2012, Idols-famed and arguably one of South Africa’s top live bands, The Graeme Watkins Project (GWP), embarked on a tour throughout the Eastern and Western Cape in First Car Rental’s Purple Wagon.
GWP started New Year’s eve performing at the Ruins Festival in St Francis Bay. Thousands of locals and holiday makers came to the festival eager to reign in the New Year to performances by “The Graeme Watkins Project”, “Zebra and Giraffe ”and 5FM DJ Sasha Montenegro.
From St Francis Bay, the band headed off to Cape Town to play their first official gig of the New Year at Music Hotspot “Zula Bar”. From there, they began working on their follow-up album, which will be released late 2012.
On their final day in Cape Town they rocked crowds at the Epic Kirstenbosch Summer Concerts. In this beautiful setting, GWP managed to pull a capacity crowd going down as one of the band’s most memorable concerts to date.
The band then jetsetted off to Durban to continue working on their album, and finally performed at The Upper Deck in Richards Bay ending off their highly successful and most enjoyable tour. |

"London Bridge" is the 3rd single for the Graeme Watkins Project, taken from their incredibly successful debut album, "Corridors of the Mind", released by 2 Feet Music.
