Dear Dominika,
This is again to say thank you for your help in organizing documentation of our accident.

As you may know First Car Rental has refused to pay for the damage although we believed to have a full damage waiver but as there was no other object involved they saw no obligation to pay. The same applied for Car Del Mar although we had a German contract which clearly indicated a full coverage.

But now with your help and the missing documents on hand, the Lufthansa Credit Card Insurance paid the full amount.

Dear Hannelie,
Kruger International Airport is closed on a Saturday at 13:00 and I needed to pick up a car after 13:00 on Saturday.

They gave me your cell phone number, which I called several times while having lunch with my clients in Nelspruit at about 14:00.
We went to the airport and to my surprise the First Car Rental office was open. They told me they were waiting for us. Really fantastic service, well done. Thanks Hannelie, I will use your company again and again.

Thanks for the follow-up yesterday with regards to my registration for Show&Go.

I would just like to congratulate you on the outstanding customer service I got at the First Car Rental George branch last Thursday. Trevor assisted me. I must admit that I have used your cars more than 20 times this year, however the service I got from Trevor really stood out.

I got to your car rental counter and he addressed me by name before I could introduce myself (most probably looked at my photo on your system). He also knew that I have been using your company quite frequently in the past and asked why I did not apply for Show&Go. Now, I must admit that your George branch is most probably less busy than Johannesburg (OR Tambo) branch, but I have also visited some of your other smaller branches that are also not too busy.

He also offered to get somebody to contact me regarding the Show&Go loyalty card, after I explained that I just don’t have the time to follow-up.

I must be honest; one of the few reasons why I used your company in the past was because cars are typically more available on short notice. However, the great customer experience that Trevor gave me makes me look at your company in a slightly different light. I have been assisted by many of your service agents in the past and Trevor stood out by a mile.

I would appreciate if you could please bring this positive experience to the attention of Trevor's supervisors/managers and please pass on my thanks to Trevor again.

First Car Rental is the best car rental company I have ever used. In Cape Town, I misplaced my passports, air tickets and all important documents. The staff of First Car Rental moved heaven and earth to help and a young lady went above and beyond the call of duty and found them. What a marvellous team at Cape Town they deserve a medal!

Hello Una,
I would like to take this opportunity to thank First Car Rental, and especially Leanne Margo, for the excellent service I got from her for the last year. On many occasions there were problems at the different airports and with just a simple call or sms to Leanne the problems were resolved and I could get my work done.

Even over weekends and after hours if there was an emergency or I had to organize a car rental at short notice, this was no problem to her.

I wish we could get more people like Leanne in the SA economy and service companies, then it would be much less stressful and businessmen would be able to spend more time doing business rather than trying to resolve issues caused by incompetent people.

Thank you for this support and I am looking forward to dealing with her in 2012.

Dear Elmarie,
I used your company to hire a vehicle from your Cape Town International Airport branch in August this year and because of a good deed by one of your employees at the time, without hesitation, used your company again last week to hire a vehicle from First Car Rental King Shaka International Airport and again in Cape Town.

When I returned your vehicle in August, I left my camera in the vehicle. I would not have known until I got back to Toronto and would not have known where I lost it. To my utter amazement, your employee, Rashied, who checked my vehicle in on return at the time, found me at the check-in counter in the terminal building and returned my camera to me. I was really impressed with his honesty and the time and trouble he took to find me.

I thought it important to bring this to your attention and to pass on well-deserved praise to this employee.

I would like to express my utmost satisfaction on the customer service I have received from a gentleman, by the name of Heinrich, at the First Car Rental Port Elizabeth Airport branch.

Not having noticed the change in groups and booking for a group B car, only to find out that I would get something different to what I expected, was not a very good situation but the gentleman took time to explain to me and assured me that I would not complain if I took the car he has recommended and indeed, I was completely satisfied.

This goes on to prove me correct when I say I just can't change the car rental company because of one bad apple and thanks to the lady, Chantel Klopper, who handled my case. And ensured I was happy at the end.
