I would like to extend my deepest thanks to Rashid Cassiem who helped us return our car in Cape Town. We found him to be the most helpful, informed and friendly First Car Rental employee that we came across on our travels to South Africa. I do hope that his excellence is acknowledged within the company as well.

The car rental worked out beautifully. First Car Rental was wonderful and really went the extra mile for us at their Pretoria (Hatfield) Office when we had a problem with the tires of the car we rented in Nelspruit.
Thank you again and please thank the First Car Rental employees in South Africa. You guys are the best!

For all the times I have been getting excellent service at First Car Rental. Your staff assist to the fullest in their capability.
The only downside is that cars, as per request, are difficult to find. A friend once told me maybe it’s because i am not a member. If it is possible, I would love to get information on how to join your club. However, I do have the loyalty club, but not really sure of its benefits.
Keep up the work and motivate your staff often so they keep the First Car Rental name above average.

I rented from First Car Rental Cape Town Airport for a month (Nov - Dec 2010). From the moment I walked into the office, and was met by the assistant, I felt at ease and confident that I would have a trouble-free rental period (1 month). I did balk at the access fee held on my card, but bearing in mind my bank had forgotten I was visiting Cape Town, I was under an obligation.
I was given a clean, almost new car, which I was more than happy with, I had no trouble with it and was confident that if there had been I would have had the right support.
I returned the car to First Car Rental Cape Town City and again had a seamless check in. There was a misunderstanding over payment, but this was sorted out professionally and quickly and I have nothing but the utmost praise for the staff and the system.
My queries were always answered quickly and efficiently and with a very high standard. I was given what is called a club card (can someone confirm that I am in the system) and I will certainly hire from First Car Rental again.

Thank you for the very nice Nissan Tiida car rental! The only difficulty to learn was the gear-system on the left hand-side. But it worked! We had a wonderful week in Western Cape area with your car. Hope to get the opportunity to come back some day...

Dear Cindy,
Five emails and 7 telephone calls transpired before the corporate customer received his car.
Sonja was available after hours last night (07h45) and has not left the job unattended until the reservation was loaded today; and all this to assist a colleague in need, namely me. And to acquire 16 rental days while on stop sell.
Sincerely, I greatly appreciate follow-up calls, all the while I was with customers.
Although Sonja has Executive office running to attend to, she NEVER declines call for help and is seriously taking the 24 hour availability, her laptop is always open which now needs a serious praise. And Sonja will not take no for an answer until the job is done, and she is satisfied with the end result. Outstanding Customer Service!
Totally outside of the job description, that’s why this is so extraordinary; and happens on daily basis, without a fail-sensible, reliable, inquisitive, professional, pleasant and polite. That’s Sonja.
Service levels are only there to be exceeded.

Just a note about the great service I received from Simon at First Car Rental Randburg branch. I booked a car a day later than I needed it. When I went to collect, Simon pointed out that the car was only booked for the next day. No Problem! I was out of there in less than 20 minutes with my rental.

I would like to thank the staff at the First Car Rental OR Tambo branch for making me feel like a VIP. I made a last-minute online booking to rent a Group B car for two days, and on arrival (I was early), my car was ready and waiting - and I got an upgrade!
I thoroughly enjoyed driving my Nissan Xtrail (with Bluetooth functionality for cellphones) - and felt like royalty. The staff also allowed me to leave my rental car in their parking lot while I attended meetings at the airport as well!
Thank you First Car Rental for the personalised and special service at a very reasonable rate.
